Introduction to the Test
The JLPT N5 (Japanese-Language Proficiency Test, Level N5) is designed for absolute beginners who are just starting to learn Japanese. This sample test focuses on basic kanji and vocabulary. It will help you assess your knowledge and understanding of some of the essential words and characters you will encounter in everyday Japanese.
Test Format
- Total Questions: 10 Multiple Choice Questions
- Topics Covered:
- Vocabulary (Moji)
- Kanji Recognition & Basic Usage
- Simple Grammar and Sentence Structures
Each question consists of either a vocabulary word or kanji, and you will need to select the correct meaning, reading, or usage.
How to Take the Test
- Start the Test: Click on the “Start Test” button below to begin.
- Answering Questions: For each question, choose the correct answer from the four options provided. There is only one correct answer per question.
- Check Your Answers: After completing the test, you can review your answers, check the correct ones, and see explanations in Myanmar for each.
Scoring System
- Each Correct Answer: 10 points
- Maximum Score: 100 points
- Passing Score: 60% (You need at least 6 correct answers to pass)
- Your score will be shown as a percentage after the test.

- Detailed answers will be shown, with explanations in Myanmar.
